The Platteville School District has recognized Inspiring Community, Inc. for their ongoing support of our schools as part of the Wisconsin Association of School Boards’ 2025 Business Honor Roll Program.
This program recognizes local businesses for their commitment to providing resources or additional learning opportunities for Platteville’s students and staff. “On behalf of the school district, I am honored to recognize Inspiring Community, Inc.,” says Jim Boebel, Superintendent of the Platteville School District. “Inspiring Community has played an integral part of our school district and is a testament to the work that can be accomplished when community partners invest in our students."
Cindy Tang, though Inspiring Community, is heavily involved within the Platteville community and is committed to giving back. Time and time again, ICI has provided opportunities for our students. Since 2011, they have worked to secure over $300,000 in funding for Platteville students' post-secondary education through scholarships.
Additionally, they provide endowments to our staff to offset the cost of supplemental materials they may need for their classroom. Currently, Cindy Tang and ICI are working with our music department to fund a new state-of-the-art sound system for the Platteville High School Auditorium. A system upgrade that meets the needs of our busy, upcoming concerts and music schedule and equips our students with the tools they need to succeed in that space.
