U.S. News & World Report names Platteville at #19 in Wisconsin!

The Platteville High School has been named by U.S. News & World Report as the 19th Best High School in Wisconsin based on graduation rate, college readiness, Advanced Placement® coursework, and enrollment. U.S. News & World Report also named Platteville to the National Rankings List coming in the top 1,000 (#834) out of 24,000 high schools in the country.


Platteville High School serves 453 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 15:1. 47% of Platteville High School students participate in at least one Advanced Placement® course during their high school career.

Platteville High School commits to the intention of “We Pursue Excellence” and is their mission to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment of the highest quality that empowers each individual.  The school follows the state of Wisconsin's assessment for their high school students’ English, reading, mathematics, science curriculum, and workforce skills through ACT and ACT Aspire testing.
