Due to the emergency closing days that occured this year beyond the planned threshold, the Platteville School District will implement the following plan:
1. Students in Grades 7-12 will have a half day of asynchronous virtual learning on the morning of March 17, 2023. Parents and students will be notified in advance and student assignments would be due on March 29, 2023, which is the Wednesday following Spring Break. Asynchronous learning allows students to learn on their own schedule, within a certain assigned timeframe. They can access and complete lectures, readings, homework, and other learning materials at any time during a specified period.
2. Beginning on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, students in all grades will compete a full day of instruction similar to the other days of the week. (No Wednesday Early Releases through the end of this school year.)
Parents are encouraged to check in with their students' teacher in order to acquire any materials necessary.
