PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE - November 2016
Wow! Hillmen Homecoming Week was outstanding. Our students were involved in activities all week and truly showed their school spirit through banners, creating sidewalk chalk murals, dress-up days, store-front displays, lip synch performances, skits, full school assembly, the biggest parade yet, and the Homecoming dance. Just about every student was involved in something throughout the week, and the school spirit was at a very high level. Not only did students get involved during the day, students made their presence known at all of the athletic events held throughout the week. As a principal, homecoming week can be stressful as students will sometimes take things too far. But this was not the case at Platteville High School. Our students made everyone proud of how they demonstrated their school spirit because they did it the right way, the Hillmen Way! All of us here at PHS are very proud of our students and couldn’t be more excited to make it even better next year. Thank you to all of the students, staff, parents and community supporters that made this Homecoming one to remember.
Proud to be a Hillmen,
Timothy Engh, Principal
