The Platteville Sports Boosters Mission Statement
The primary purpose of the Platteville PublicSports Boosters Club is to foster and promote the welfare of education by sponsoring the athletic programs of the Platteville Public Schools System and to inform the public in regard to the importance of athletics for students who attend the Platteville Schools.
Platteville Sports Boosters Membership Information
Membership in the Sports Boosters consists of parents, grandparents, alumni, friends and businesses who would like to make a positive contribution to our children’s athletic experiences. Each member has the right to vote when purchase requests are presented at the monthly meetings as well as help make decisions on behalf of our organization.
Booster funds are generated through membership fees, sponsor advertising in our athletic event sports programs, the annual school year sport calendar and concession stands we operate at home athletic events. We also generate funds from activities we sponsor such as alumni tournaments and golf outings.
Sports Boosters also contribute toward the cost of fan buses, coaching clinics and certifications, sponsor athletes at state and all-star game competitions and athletic banquets.
Monthly membership meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Platteville High School except for the months of June and July.
