The Platteville High School golf program competes at junior varsity and varsity levels. Competitions may be of dual, triangular, or multi-school invitational.
Expectations for participants in the golf program include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Have fun!
2. Set individual and team goals.
3. Know and properly follow the Platteville High School Activities Code.
4. Attend all required events, practices, and meetings, except when excused in advance by the coach(es).
5. At all times, give your best effort, be a team-oriented person, and warrant respect.
6. Practice excellent sportspersonship!
7. Dress with special care for all matches and tournaments.
8. Demonstrate knowledge of the rules of golf and proper golf etiquette.
9. Learn the many values that participation in sports teaches you.
10. Become a golfer! A golfer is a person who possesses a certain degree of proficiency in golf's six S's of success: skill, strength and suppleness, smartness, self-control, self-confidence, spirit.
