Charlie
Clark-Counselor
clark@platteville.k12.wi.us
Charles Clark went from being an auditor/accountant
in Milwaukee to being a high school counselor when he joined the
PHS staff in 1976. (He's never regretted the
career change) In addition to guiding students with their
academic efforts, career goal-setting and educational planning,
Mr. Clark provides counseling for personal and social issues
that may interfere with students being successful in school.
He also works closely with administration on the student
registration and scheduling process and is the Advanced
Placement coordinator for the district.

Kim Lipska
Administrative Asst.
lipska @platteville.k12.wi.us Kim Lipska has been office
manager for the guidance office since the early 1990's. Besides doing all the typical receptionist
duties that keep the guidance office running smoothly, Ms. Lipksa
maintains the students' high school transcripts and guidance
office files, processes college applications and scholarships
for students, and keeps guidance office reference materials
up-to-date. She does all this and more with a
wonderful sense of humor.

Olson, a school social worker for the Platteville School District
since 1992,
spends approximately 60% of her time in the high school and 40% at the

contacts, Ms. Olson helps high school students solve problems and find
resources so they can achieve success both in school and in their
personal lives. As the homeless liaison for the school district,

member of Parent Network, she is also a valuable resource for parents in
the district.
