Principal's Message        

Platteville High School is a great place to build a future. The opportunities that exist and the expectations that are set by staff and community push our students to truly “Strive For Excellence”. Each year, we have students excel in the academic arena as evidenced by a long history of National Merit Scholars and recent Kohl Scholarship winners. Our vocational and co-curricular programs are also dynamic and present students with opportunities and guidance to develop personal skills and habits that lead to future success.

The Platteville community has provided great support to its public schools and the young people in our area have responded in kind. PHS students are a hardworking, committed and talented group of young people who take their education seriously. They appreciate and enjoy the opportunities provided for them. They know that “Striving For Excellence” is more than just a slogan, it’s a way of life. Each new group of students, in every aspect of our programming, understands that the traditions of Platteville High School are truly traditions of excellence. We continue to build on those traditions.

It is the mission of Platteville High School to provide learning experiences in an environment that assists each individual in developing lifelong attitudes and skills to achieve the highest possible levels of intellectual, social, emotional, physical and moral growth.
