Mary Kay Logemann, School Nurse

Mary Klarer Logemann (Mary Kay) obtained her BSN from UW Madison and her Master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.  Before coming to Platteville Public Schools she worked in the areas of public health, home care, orthopedics, and cardiology.

Mrs. Logemann has been the nurse for Platteville Public Schools since 1990.  Her main office is located at Platteville Middle School.  She is responsible for the health services for all Platteville students.  The school nurse helps to strengthen the educational process of students by ensuring the provision of health services, promoting health and wellness through preventative programs, and providing health education.  As more students come to school with special health care needs, the nurse provides support for students, families and the educators who care for them.
