The Platteville School District utilizes an automated attendant phone system. By listening to the menus you should be able to get to where you want to go. The main Auto Attendant numbers are 0 for the school secretary, 3 to report an absence, 4 for a listing of school offices, 5 for school cancellation information and 9 for a staff directory. With the staff directory, you can contact a staff member if you do not know their extension by entering the first few letters of the person’s last name on your touch-tone phone.

If you prefer not to use the automated system you may dial a 0 as soon as your call is answered and your call will be directed to the secretary in the building you are calling.

To contact a certain person in a school building, dial the main number and then the extension of the person you are trying to contact. You can dial the extension number as soon as the system answers the call.

When calling a staff member between 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM, please leave a message on their Voice Mail, as your call will go directly to the staff member’s voice mail.  If your call is an emergency, call the Main Office of that building and dial 0 for the school secretary.  The staff extension numbers and school office numbers are listed on the following pages.
